Stuffie swap round 5

mariska | 08 July, 2007 22:57

There as been a stuffie swap on crafster again. I just had to join again. It?s so much fun creating little stuffies for swaps!
This time my swap partner told me she like cats and aliens. So I decided to make her a alien cat.
Her name is Spacey. She just loves our planet and our cats:)
I made her from fleece and felt.

My swap partner Laughingsquid made me an adorable Koala. She is very naughty, she been smokkeling drugs all over the world and ended up in the Netherlands.
It seems like I have to teach her some manners!

Food stuffie swap

mariska | 29 April, 2007 22:54

I joined the stuffie swap on craftster again. It was a lot of fun!
This time there was a special theme: Food. So I made some felt food stuffies.
Here you can find the gallery of the swap:

This is the package that I send my swap partner. It was hard to send the cakestuffie away, I liked how it turned out. I was inspired by the muppets or sesamestreet. There used to be this episode with talking food in the fridge, at least thats what I remember.
I have tried to find a picture of the show on the internet, but couldn't find it.

This is the package that I received from Peihan, she send me a delicious lunch!
Aren't the cheeses adorable? I think the eggs are so funny, they go really well with the slice of bread haha.

Stuffie swap

mariska | 15 April, 2007 20:13

The best swaps are the stuffie swaps! My swap partner was Susie, I made her a little ducky called Isabel. She made me a pig named Chef Pierre Piggy, isn't that a cute name!
This is Isabel. I'm making a pattern and tutorial on how to make Isabel. It will be on my blog soon.duck isabel

Pierre Piggy has been a builder of houses in his early adult life, but this wasn't very happy doing that, so he decided to make a career out of his first love baking! Look at those adorable breads he baked, those are the cutest breads I have ever seen. Made by Susie

DS Case Swap

mariska | 30 January, 2007 22:54

Swapping is so much fun, I made this DS case for the nintendo DS Case swap on crafster. Gallery of the swap: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=148962.0

I bought this pink brown flower fabric on ebay and thought it would be nice to use it for this case.  I sewed the big flowers on the pink fabric.  My swap-partner liked the Ds bag very much, so that was a good idea:)
Here is a photo of the front of the bag:

The back has a pocket to put games in:

I'm working on a tutorial for this bag, it's almost finished.

I also made two bears for her kids. These are the bears. She had a photo of her children on her blog: http://pokeyouwithmysticks.blogspot.com/.
They looked so cute, I just had to make them a little gift.

In the gallery you can see photo's of her kids with the bears:
